The talent acquisition function of the organization represents the company culture; entrepreneurial, innovative, and collaborative. This senior-level role will be a member of a highly-skilled, capable, engaged function that is a strategic partner to the business. This leader will be a steward of the business and talent community and will serve as a cultural ambassador, advisor, and advocate for attracting top talent for the organization. The talent acquisition team works directly with business leaders, employees, candidate community, organizations, and the broader stakeholders, and People Team to support the business with recruitment and staffing while providing consultative guidance in the areas of talent acquisition and management strategies.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as leader of the talent function operating as a subject matter expert across all matters related to recruiting and establishing industry-leading best practices for the identification and attraction of top talent
• Partner with the executive team, leaders, and direct s to drive strategic and tactical recruiting initiatives, identifying critical skills needs and developing unique pipeline programs for identification of current and future skills needed
• Translate the business needs and develop strategic, actionable plans to lead enterprise-wide efforts in support of improvement and outcomes-focused talent deliverables for a diverse set of skills and needs across sales, operations, support functions, and infrastructure roles
• Develop the processes, procedures, education, and information needed to expand the talent function of the organization
• Deliver a compliant process and identify and lead training opportunities for arming hiring leaders with the information, tools, resources, and knowledge to hire effectively
• Build and deliver data, analytics, and metrics for demonstrating market trends and talent shifts in a competitive landscape
• Articulate new ways of thinking and leveraging talent; serve as a change agent, advisor, and advocate for the candidate and employee community
• Serve as the senior recruiter for executive and senior-level roles in the organization
• Serve as point of escalation regarding recruiting challenges and work with key stakeholders to develop and implement creative solutions to staffing issues
• Stay up to date and share knowledge regarding modern talent acquisition processes, philosophy, and trends, and share learnings with leadership, hiring leaders, and People team
• Research, drive, and deliver AI-enabled practices that will automate non-value add processes and procedures while elevating efficiency and continuous improvement
• Lead, coach, develop and scale the talent acquisition team and function
• Streamline full lifecycle recruiting process to identify value-add components while driving automation, education, and efficiency for the future state of the function and process
• Develop short- and long-term strategies and solutions for the identification of new, unique sourcing strategies
• Partner with the business and stakeholders to develop employment branding, proposition, and mapping to illustrate culture, opportunity, and mechanisms that illustrate the company story, vision, and purpose
• Develop an internal mobility program
• Partner with the People Operations, People Partner, and L&D team to share best practices, and industry information and capture engagement trends to further solidify the employee value proposition
• Develop, expand, and maintain relationships across the company to understand current and future workforce needs, develop effective strategies and provide guidance on selection and provide input for succession planning
• Develop a strategy and roadmap for diversity, equity, and inclusion that aligns with broader organizational goals and objectives related to talent acquisition efforts. Serve as talent acquisition ERG leader.
• Develop a roadmap for articulating the manner for delivery of talent acquisition strategy through a focus on operational excellence, flawless delivery of strategic sourcing campaigns, training, modernization of processes, and embody a function of diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Prepare, review, and approve information for audits and other regulatory and compliance requirements
• Partner with CPO and regional leaders to deploy learnings from Affirmative Action Planning
• Utilize your HR knowledge to influence within the areas of organizational design and development, compensation, performance management, employee engagement, employment law, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, training & employee development, systems, and tools
• Serve as a trusted business partner to advise and influence leaders to create measurable and actionable plans that foster an environment of continuous improvement, transparent feedback, and collaboration; build and foster open lines of communication, trust, and support
• Oversee individual development plans as needed and partner with internal stakeholders to identify growth and development opportunities
• Partner with the Director – People Operations in annual performance reviews, merit planning, and communication strategy
• Partner with People team leaders to drive education, communication, and process for career pathing program
• Be an objective resource and advocate for the business and the employee population
• Use people analytics and other data sources to drive decisions; prepare s, information, and presentations as needed
• Participate in regional leadership and management calls and discussions; present updates that represent talent acquisition strategy and actively contribute toward operational-related discussions regarding regional performance, including people-related components, trends, and data points
• Demonstrate discretion and strong judgment leading to positive outcomes
• Serve as a culture driver, living the Veritext values and advising others to incorporate the values into their operations
• Stay abreast of industry trends, company updates, and marketing efforts, to demonstrate knowledge to the team, candidate community, and other sourcing contacts
• Recommend strategic sourcing tools and resources for identifying top talent

Qualifications:

• Required
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or another adjacent field
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience people related functions including employee relations, performance management, culture, employee engagement, and internal communications. Prior knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources
• Preferred
  • SHRM credentials or other talent acquisition certifications preferred
  • Prior experience with an HRIS database/Applicant Tracking System preferred
  • Understanding of compliance and employment law preferred
