Year 2 Teacher – Burnley

A Large Primary school in Burnley are looking for a motivated and confident Year 2 Teacher to start October 2021 for a maternity cover until Easter 2022. The school would be happy to take on an enthusiastic NQT as well as experienced Teachers for this role, the ideal candidate would have a sensitive child centred approach with a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum is essential for this role.

Year 2 Primary Teacher role:

  • Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the UK Curriculum
  • Have a passion for teaching and providing the highest standards of teaching and learning
  • A proven track record of raising attainment
  • Demonstrates a variety of teaching and learning strategies which they use effectively
  • A team player
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

To be successful in this Year 2 Teacher role you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK To be considered for this position the school are looking for a Year 2 Teacher who has previous experience working in a school setting.
