Job Description
Are you an experienced HR Shared Services Team Lead? Are you passionate about providing outstanding service? In this role you will lead and motivate a team of HR Operations Associates and Advisers to deliver outstanding service to both our new and existing colleagues and key stakeholders across the business.
Your primary responsibility is managing daily workload of the team via our internal case management tool. Work is generally of a critical, time-sensitive or confidential nature.
Key responsibilities:
Lead day to day HR Operations team activities across EMEA and APAC regions
Supervise Regional HR Operations Associates and Advisers daily activities
Ensure a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building, recognition, performance management, development and succession planning.
Triage and resolve escalated Tier1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 requests as needed
Publish monthly executive dashboards/KPI metric reporting
Ensure all audit and compliance activities and requests are adhered to for the region
Proactively manage relationship with other key functional areas including Payroll, Finance, and IT
Liaison with external payroll and benefit vendors as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience of working within a HR Shared Services team, providing advice and coaching to team members
Experience of working in an international organisation with a complex matrix structure and managing a team across multiple locations and/or regions
Extensive knowledge of Human Resources operations and policies and a strong understanding of local statutory regulations as they pertain to HR
Process improvement certification or experience
Advanced knowledge of relevant HR systems, applications, or tools. Experience of using a ticketing system like ServiceNow is highly desirable
Advanced MS Office knowledge
Proven track record of exceptional customer experience
Strong problem-solving mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly
Use strong judgement, knowledge and experience to make sound decisions
Ability to work independently and efficiently, and demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness as a self-starter
Strong management reporting tracking and presentation
Demonstrated ability to identify patterns/gaps in behaviour and processes and proactively propose/identify solutions
Continuous learning mindset
High ethical standards and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
