Verify Inc. is Looking for Supplier Compliance Representatiave Full Time

Position: Supplier Compliance Representative

Location: Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada

Duration: 6 month contract

Frequency: 40/hrs per week – full-time

Job Description :

• Support our customer on supplier compliance at their facility and from home (hybrid role).
• Coordinate the activies between the customer, the supplier and the on-site quality and manufacturing representative.
• Maintain and revise the inspection plan per findings or new requirements.
• Provide technical expertise on manufacturing and quality issues.
• Support problem solving and root causing analysis.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented by the supplier.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a background in aerospace quality, manufacturing and engineering.
• Candidate has strong knowledge of composites, polymer, plastics, etc. parts and processes.
• Candidate has experience creating and review inspection plan for major aerospace components.
• Candidate has experience coordinating activities with suppliers and third parties.
• Candidate has root causes analysis and problem solving skills.
• Candidate has knowledge of engineering requirements specified per ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) or equivalent standard.
• Must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and Specifications.
• Experience reviewing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard and knowledge is required.
• Ideal candidate has a minimum of five years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military / defense manufacturing.
• Candidate should be computer savvy. (Microsoft Excel, Word, powerpoint, SAP, etc.).
• Authorize to work in Canada.
