The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Weighbridge Team Leader position to join our operations team based at Banks Meadow 2019.

Reporting to the Weighbridge Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient operations of the weighbridge at the Veolia waste facilities to ensure waste material entering the facilities is accurately weighed, recorded and documented, while providing great customer service and support.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Site management of the waste entering the facility, confirm and verify waste inline with EPA/DWER regulatory compliance
• Accurately & efficiently input waste data onto the weighbridge from vehicles entering and leaving the site
• Management of the site Traffic Management Plan for customers, visitors and employees on site.
• Oversight of the Vehicle Logistics Officer with scheduling of Fleet as requested
• Process purchase orders, invoice and administration activities where required

What you’ll need to be successful

• 1+ years industry and weighbridge operator experience
• Experience with Purchase Order Systems – SAP for processing of purchase orders and invoices
• Experience managing a small operational team
• Basic Computer Skills – Google Suite Experience is advantageous
• Experience with waste management electronic data recording systems (desirable)
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role
