The Opportunity

Join a motivated and fast paced team providing professional HR advice to our Waste line of business within Tasmania

What you’ll be responsible for

• Partnering, supporting and coaching leaders across several sites in Tasmania and enable leaders to be successful.
• Working with centres of excellence such as Health and Safety, Talent Acquisition and HR Services to ensure collaborative outcomes
• Cyclical HR activities and involvement in enterprise agreements

You’ll need:

• HR qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience
• Previous experience in a generalist HR role within an industrial/blue collar environment
• Experience in agreement negotiation is desirable but not essential
• Experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation and regulations
• Strong coaching skills with the ability to enhance capability
• High level problem solving skills with the ability to identify issues, think creatively and recommend strategies, ideas and opportunities for resolution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
