The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team based in Pyrmont, 2009. As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for delivering high quality accounting services for the ANZ group.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Perform weekly and monthly accounting tasks
• Ensure compliance with group and local accounting standards
• Provide key stakeholders with accurate and timely information
• Ongoing ability to work to deadlines, multi task and remain organised
• Maintain effective relationships with the direct manager, finance team and stakeholders

What you’ll need to be successful

• 5 + years of relevant experience in similar organisation
• Working towards Professional Qualifications (CPA/CA)
• Effective interpersonal skills, including ability to priorities, time manage, resolve issues and meet deadlines for weekly,monthly reporting
• Proven ability to analyse reports and data
• Desired skills in SAP, Investment Management and Capex module experience
