About the role:

We currently have two openings for Finance Graduates to join our Group Finance team with Ventia.

These roles are full time fixed term for 12 months and offer an excellent introduction to the world of accounting and finance in a large complex corporate environment.

Joining the Ventia team you will become part of our Finance Academy initiative. This program brings together all Finance professionals across the business to partake in opportunities for continuous learning and training, mentoring programs, networking and social events aimed at promoting career development and recognition.

The role offers flexible working with time in the office and working from home.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing ongoing support to our Finance Managers and key stakeholders.
• Undertaking corporate accounting activities.
• Comply with industry standard financial reporting, planning & analysis.
• Assisting with coordination of events and training for our finance academy.

About you:

• You have Successfully completed a tertiary Finance or Accounting undergraduate degree in the last two years, or are in your final semester of study.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite particularly in Excel.
• Adaptive to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholder.
