About the role
Due to an internal promotion Ventia’s Gippsland Water contract are seeking an experienced Finance & Administration Manager to support and work alongside the Project director in delivery financial and commercial analysis and reporting.

As one of the key service providers to Gippsland Water we are seeking a proactive leader in Finance who is looking to take the next step in their career or seeking a role where they can influence and change.

This role is based onsite at Traralgon, VIC. This is a permanent full time role.

Duties:

• Development and accurate delivery of all Management reporting requirements for the Project
• Focus on Net Working Capital – maximising cash collection and Overclaims, minimising and managing underclaims for timely conversion to invoicing
• Ensure all Project accounting and financial data is maintained, analysed, and reported as required
• Consistent monitoring, evaluation and reporting of budgets and operational performance, service and quality standards and the efficiency of staff and processes
• Identify synergies across delivery teams and regions to streamline processes and delivery of services with a focus on cost out
• Develop & mentor project finance & admin team

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in commerce, accounting, or business management
• Experience in the infrastructure industry and managing the financial accounts of a commercial/contract type environment preferred
• Sound knowledge and proven experience in applying financial and accounting systems and processes to service contracts
• Proven experience in computer applications and databases for financial reporting (e.g., SAP)
