We are excited to announce we have a newly created position available for a Talent Business Partner to join our Team. This position will act as a sector talent partner within our Defence contracts to identify and prioritise talent and attraction strategies.

About the role

The role reports through to the People & Culture team working solely on our defence contracts to create and drive initiatives which will increase diversity of talent and retain and increase the satisfaction of our workforce.

Initially the role is a 12 month contract (possibility of permanent depending on the success of the role). You can be based in any state within Australia with flexibility of working from home. Travel to all States across Australia will be required from time to time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with difference stakeholders, supporting and providing positive outcomes for the business
• Create and roll out referral program across the business
• Build relationships with the local community ie. Schools, sporting institutes, Tafes to create talent pipelines.
• Drive a culture of delivering customer value.

Key Experiences & Skills

• Previous experience in recruitment or a human resources function
• Experience in managing/creating strategies to boost brand awareness and attract diverse talent.
• Proven ability to drive and deliver transformation with operational analytics
• Strong understanding of what drives high attrition as well as the ability to interpret the data to create strategies to reduce
• Experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
• Strong communications – both written communication
• An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
