Vendors Exchange International, Inc Hiring for Accounting Manager Job at Cleveland, OH Full Time

This position is a key member in the finance area at Vendors Exchange International LLC. (VEI) with responsibility for general ledger monthly closing and maintenance, financial reconciliations, assisting in monthly financial reporting, cash flow forecasting and reporting, supervision of the Accounts Receivable groups, monthly sales tax filing, and yearly audit and tax liaison with CPA firm. This position will be responsible for managing several employees within the accounting department.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Description

• Establishing, coordinating and maintaining sound accounting practices and procedures and for presenting factual reports;
• Responsible for cash management, budgets and forecasts
• Supervising general cost, credit and collections
• Maintaining proper records and accounting controls
• Preparing balance sheets, P&L statements and tax returns
• Responsible for inventory control procedures and physical inventory
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience in leadership roles, yet willing to perform hands-on accounting tasks
• Proven ability to prioritize objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of proficiency using accounting GL systems and MS Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong GAAP, Corporate Tax, and State Sales Tax knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with outside CPA firm.
• Experience with NETSUITE a plus
• Public accounting experience a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 7+ years of accounting experience
• Salary range DOE- $95K to $110K
