We are Vendome Copper & Brass Works, Inc., a full service custom metal fabricator for industrial and commercial processing equipment.
We have an immediate opening for an Engineer at Vendome Copper & Brass Works, Inc.
Our ideal candidate would have a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree, be proficient in AutoCAD/Inventor, have mechanical tank and vessel knowledge, and prior experience working with the distilling industry and ASME Section VIII would be a plus.
It also requires excellent communication skills, work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish.
The Engineer will work directly from start to finish with customers and with Vendome project managers overseeing their projects through production and installation.
This position will work with shop staff as well as customers from start to finish, overseeing their projects through production and installation, helping with customer needs development, quote preparation and equipment design.
This is an office-based position that s directly to the Director of Engineering.

Our customers span from Fortune 500 global companies to small businesses just starting out. Our services range from fabricating new processing equipment to modifying or maintaining existing equipment both in our shop and on customers’ site.
Here’s what we are looking for from the ideal candidate:
*Proficient in drawing with AutoCAD/Inventor
*Knowledgeable of mechanical tanks and vessels and mechanical piping
*Any applicable experience would be considered although prior experience working with the distilling industry and ASME Section VIII would be a plus
*Mechanical or Chemical engineering degrees strongly desired, but not required.
*Experience working directly from start to finish with customers and excellent communication skills
*Strong work ethic, and ability to work multiple projects at same time are all required
