Assistant to Import Manager and Production Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• WIP tracking
• Manage lab dip and bulk approval process and library
• Review and approve vendor invoices
• Issue and update status of all PO’s through the process for import styles
• Communicate with all overseas factories regarding packing and labeling instructions
• Assist in managing drop shipment logistics including working with freight forwarder to arrange inbound shipments
• Managing receipts and allocation of all imports to warehouse.
• Review OTS reports to ensure proper inventory coverage
• Create month end in-transit reports

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• +2 years of production experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of spreadsheets
• Solid understanding of the import/export processes
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of ERP systems
• Highly motivated, self-starter, detail oriented and strong follow though.
