Job Description:

The ICT Strategy and Assurance branch seeks build a team of people to establish and embed a digital reform Integrated Service Design and Assurance function. They will be engaged to assist in delivering one or more of the following elements:

• Develop a business model and roadmap for implementing an Integrated Service Design function, as well as a capability maturity plan that focusses on knowledge transfer and upskilling staff working within the Reform program streams.
• Document an end-to-end Service Design that presented the entire team and how it maps together.
• Establish effective governance to act as a design authority to provide quality assurance, planning and prioritisation checks and strategic alignment.
• Operating a Service Design ‘Centre of Excellence’ for the Group to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment of ICT changes to the department Reform Program outcomes and direct future improvements and efficiencies.
• Understand the research activities underway across the reforms and perform User Experience and Service Design functions for projects as required.

Essential criteria

1. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Service Design concepts and structures.
2. Suitable approach to delivering the services requested by the Department’s goals.
3. Experience with engagement, collaboration, and planning functions across the department sector.

Desirable criteria

1. Work as a team with the Department, delivery partners and the Department’s key stakeholders.
