Project Manager | Canberra / Hybrid / Offsite / Remote | Citizens | Contract

Job Description

The department is looking for a highly motivated Agile Project manager to assist uplift several critical Biosecurity applications to the new Azure hosting platform prior to August 2024. The position will work closely with a high performing technical team and business representatives. This project is a high priority for the department and has executive visibility. Providing accurate ing to management is essential and experience in Azure DevOps or equivalent products is required.

Essential criteria

1. Proven experience coordinating a range of program/project activities including the production, delivery and management of project schedules and progress s.

2. Proven experience working within a fast paced environment, alongside different technical and business teams.

3. Strong organisational and communication skills to present information and communicate expectations in an environment with competing requirements/workloads. Experience in Azure DevOps or equivalent products for project tracking.

4. Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, mentoring and teaming capabilities.

Desirable criteria

1. Experience working under pressure with close attention to detail, organising priorities and meeting deadlines.

2. Experience in presenting information and communicating expectations across conflicting priorities/workloads and a challenging environment.
