Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic, service-oriented Project Manager to join the ICT and Data Program.

The Project Manager will be overseeing multiple delivery teams using agile methodologies and practices, working alongside a range of quality assurance expertise. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring delivery projects are on track, managing risks, issues and impediments appropriately and adhering to Project and Program governance, ing and risk frameworks, policies and procedures. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring all project plans and strategies are fit for purpose and will deliver intended outcomes within budget.

We are looking for a strong team player that thrives on creating a great team culture and driving continuous improvement.

Under direction from the Program Manager, the Project Manager will:

• Work with delivery teams to deliver project outputs and outcomes regularly, on time, and within budget

• Work with delivery teams and other key stakeholders to proactively remove impediments to progress

• Monitor and drive continuous improvement in the team

• Manage risks, issues and dependencies with the team and across other project teams

• Facilitate agile events including daily stand ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives

• Guide, mentor and develop the team to improve agile, digital and human-centred design capabilities

• Manage and track program finances and procurements

Essential criteria:

1. At least 5 years’ experience in project management

2. Proven ability to work with a multidisciplinary team to plan and manage regular releases, enhancements, and iterations

3. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with stakeholders to proactively remove impediments to progress

4. Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement in agile delivery teams

5. Exceptional organisation, communication and facilitation skills
