Organisational Change Manager | Canberra | Hybrid / Offsite / Remote | Citizens

Job Description:

The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated personnel, include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Work with stakeholders in planning, developing and executing change initiatives across the department.

2. Develop and implement change management strategy and method to deliver sustainable results.

3. Develop change management plan based on business demand, challenges and implications. The change management plans including communications, trainings, stakeholder engagement, and impact analysis.

4. Evaluate project plans and identify change initiatives required for successful project execution.

5. Work effectively in a small team environment

6. Provide knowledge / skills transfer to other team members

7. Record and maintain files / information in accordance with the department’s requirements

Relevant experience :

1. Demonstrated experience in the development of change and communication management plans for projects and other change initiatives.

2. Demonstrated experience in defining, developing and communicating the change management approach for a significant organisational change

3. Demonstrated experience in an organisational change management role working within either a PRINCE2 and/or Agile framework.

4. Provide examples of experience and past performance in delivering Organisational Change Management in an IT environment

5. Formal qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution or demonstrated skills and experience in Organisational Change Management.

Ability to deliver:

1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

2. Demonstrated flexibility, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills

3. Provide evidence of ability to deliver within required timeframes to an acceptable quality standard

4. Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and lead large change management initiatives
