Business Analyst (Multiple )| Canberra / Adelaide / Melbourne / Brisbane | Hybrid / Offsite / Remote | Citizens | Contract

Job Description:

Main Duties Duties may include, but not limited to, some or all of the following:

1. contribute to the creation of action plans, solution s and business cases for review by senior staff

2. liaise with stakeholders to develop an understanding of their requirements and concerns in line with the agency’s business objectives

3. contribute towards business analysis approaches that may include specifying team roles, deliverables, analysis techniques or stakeholder communication

4. assist on recommending improvements for consideration by senior staff and provide support on the analysis, verification, and validation of the recommended improvements

5. provide support on stakeholder analysis to assist the team engage with stakeholders and effectively understand cross business functions

6. participate and assist facilitation across business units with stakeholders and represent the work area at meetings, conferences, and seminars

7. draft business analyst artefacts and documents that may include risk analysis, scope modelling, problem tracking and sequence diagrams for review by senior staff

8. draft or contribute to change management plans and/or communication plans

9. participate and provide support in brainstorming, workshops, prototyping, observation, or interviews, and confirm or on results

10. draft and contribute to clear business and stakeholder requirement documentation including prioritising, organising, and verifying the requirements

11. examine and organise requirements to record dependencies, relationships and identify logical sequences

12. review project documentation and agency processes to assist with determining areas for improvement or change

13. identify potential issues or risks, track problems and escalate as appropriate

14. assist with requirements management plan and its implementation

15. contribute to performance ing activities and/or variance analysis

16. assist with preparing textual statements, matrices, diagrams, and formal models to contribute to the analysis of requirements

1. communicate confidently and present messages in a clear, concise, and articulate manner

2. research, analyse, apply creativity and problem solve

3. support and maintain stakeholder relationships

4. collaborate with other staff in immediate work area and in other areas of the agency

5. negotiate with others to achieve optimal outcomes

6. investigate and respond to identified issues and escalate as needed

7. demonstrate system thinking and a cognitive view

8. make decisions within defined parameters

9. manage time and organise work against competing priorities
