Business Analyst (Multiple) | Canberra / Hybrid / Offsite / Remote | Citizens | Contract

Job Description:

The department is seeking the services of two high performing experienced Business Analysts to deliver components of business and system functionality. The successful candidates will be team players and resourceful self-starters, who are oriented towards problem solving and providing required program support services. The Business Analysts will work across one or more projects, demonstrating experience as documented in the Evaluation Criteria.

We are seeking candidates with at least 8 years’ experience who have proven ability to deliver these types of projects in an outcome focused environment. The candidates will be required to ensure ongoing delivery is aligned to program benefits and achieves desired value to business users. The candidates will need to work with a range of stakeholders to ensure that solutions delivered meet business and program expectations.

Essential criteria:

1. Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with a minimum of 8-10 years recent experience in the public service.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to managing stakeholder engagement, and working in business analyst and delivery teams.

3. Experience working to tight timeframes.

4. Experience with process modelling, journey mapping, drafting and refining user stories and managing requirements within a product backlog.

5. Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft DevOps.
