Vehicle Technician Full Time

*Overview*We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair and maintenance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are in optimal working condition. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a controlled environment

*Duties*

* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake replacements* Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems* Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed* Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status and recommendations for service* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment

*Skills*

* Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of automotive systems* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle repair* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy workshop setting* Good communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
