Vector Laboratories is seeking an Accountant – Inventory Costing & Business Intelligence to join our growing team. This position will assume the role as the analyst of inventory costing (cost accounting) and cross-functional business intelligence, utilizing Netsuite, and BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau. Using his/her strong communication skills, this person will interact with key individuals across the organization to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory module in Netsuite, including the development and loading of bills of material and labor and overhead routings for manufacturing items
• Analyze and interpret labor and overhead variances
• Assist with inventory demand planning
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation
• Assemble and manage data across multiple platforms, and organize in a clear, concise way
• Collaborate regularly with various teams, including Finance, Marketing, Sales and C-suite executives
• Develop and utilize dashboards effectively
• Articulately and concisely explain the implications of complex data
• Assist with projects as needed
• Evaluate processes to improve efficiency
• Identify and implement the use of strategic metrics to enhance business operations
• Support the annual financial statement audit process as it relates to inventory accounting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance and accounting experience with continually increasing responsibility
• Supply Chain and Inventory Management Experience
• Experience in demand planning and time series forecasting
• Superior analytical skills
• Data driven decision maker
• Knowledge of IT systems and processes
• Experience overseeing and ensuring on time delivery of accurate financial reporting

EducationBA/BS Accounting, Finance or Financial Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
