Purpose of the Role

Key Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• Qualifications in accounting or demonstratable equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience

• Data Entry knowledge.
• Experience in an Accounting/ Finance role for a service based industry
• Understanding and use of Microsoft Great Plains Accounting Software or similar, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities and Authority

• Maintains and is responsible for accounts processing in accounting department, including:
• Control all accounting routines and reconciliation (bank, cash, stock…)
• Review and control payments.
• Prepare adequate control reports
• Prepare journal entries to maintain the accounts and ledgers, correct errors if need be.
• Prepare Monthly coding of GST, BAS, income tax
• Complete general administration and customer service duties where required.
• Support Finance as appropriate with tasks including:
• Accounts Payables
• Financial Analysis
• Payroll Support
• Insurance claims.
