What You Will Do

• Contribute in planned development uplift and refactoring activities.
• Work within a cross regional team, continuing to shape our product for SaaS
• Create solid framework and components that other regional teams build upon for their feature development.
• Contribute with guidance and expertise in cross team engineering methods and practices

What You Will Bring

• Proven track record in designing and implementing application security technologies in cloud-native distributed systems
• Fluent in cloud-native distributed systems architectures leveraging big data pipelines and datastores
• Experience in delivering SaaS products using agile development methodologies (ex. TDD)
• Solid understanding of networking principles and application behaviors, including application-defined networking (VMWare NSX, Cisco ACI, etc.)
• Strong development skills in multiple languages and frameworks (e.g. C/C++, Python, Java, Go, Rust, REST APIs, Schemas etc)
• Extensive experience with open source technologies (e.g. Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes) and Cloud API integration
• Experience with object and/or functional modelling with API designs
• B.S. or preferably M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years relevant experience
• A passion for innovation and adoption of new concepts, architectures and technologies
