Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, approx. 8-5 with occasional requirement to work outside of expected office hours

Basic Responsibilities

• Accurately create daily lane based on routing in company telematics system
• Review and monitor transportation routing to ensure eligibility for backhauls and front hauls
• Assign and oversee dispatch functions of booked loads interacting with delivery drivers and field leaders to ensure contractual compliance with all bookings
• Troubleshoot with delivery drivers and field leaders any issues that arise with bookings
• May be required to assist with set up of New Carrier packets with brokers
• Gather data on vehicles to assist with more accurate booking of loads
• Provide Senior Manager with daily s to build Carrier Relations metrics
• Provide assistance for any other relevant tasks as may be needed by the business

Basic Expectations

• High attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and prioritize
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Must be knowledgeable of all relevant regulations (DOT, FMCSA)
• Ability to learn basic transportation management systems to include Telematics, timekeeping, ELD and basic financial software
• Should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics or related industries
• High school degree or equivalent required
