Job Description:
The Vancouver Whitecaps FC mission is To Unite and Inspire Our Communities. We are looking for a new team member to contribute to the Vancouver Whitecaps culture by understanding and supporting our four cornerstones: team spirit, discipline, work ethic and mentality.
The Administrator, CRM & Business Intelligence is an entry level role that is responsible for the day-to-day CRM management and supporting the Business Intelligence department.
Role Responsibilities:
CRM
· Administration and maintenance of the club’s Salesforce CRM system such as managing custom fields, objects, user permissions, profiles, and workflows
· Act as a liaison within multiple departments (Ticket Sales & Service, Business Intelligence, Partnerships, Accounting and Marketing) to facilitate the following within CRM:
o Coordinate the distribution of customer campaigns with Sales & Service Managers
o Build cross departmental reports
o Facilitate data collection inputs including scripting and executing queries
o First line of support of internal CRM helpdesk issues and timely problem solving
o Assist with the maintenance of Sponsor inventory
· Set up and monitor CRM campaigns to ensure execution as per business requirements
· Ensure the CRM system operates efficiently, and data is managed at all times
· Contribute to the development and execution of segmentation strategies that engage each customer segment type to improve retention, and optimize customer activation
· Act as a primary point-of-contact with Salesforce & KORE support
Business Intelligence
· Analytical support for Business Intelligence research strategies
· Extract valuable information, including relationships, patterns, trends, and projections from complex datasets
· Identify actionable insights within datasets and provide business recommendations of observations
· Generate reports which clearly visualize and summarize research findings
· Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources
· Create dashboards using BI/Visualization tools
· Design, program and execute surveys and data collection
· Co-champion the Fan Journey Building (marketing automation) strategy and implementation with the Manager, Digital Media, Marketing
· Design queries for the extraction, transformation and loading of data
· Support for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Soccer Ops Data Warehouse initiative
Qualifications/Experience:
In addition to bringing a commitment to Vancouver Whitecaps FC vision and values, the ideal candidate will require a broad base of CRM management with degrees of demonstrated experience as follows:
· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a business setting using CRM
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Exceedingly detail oriented
· Enthusiastic, proactive, and highly professional
· Experience writing queries and scripts in SQL is an asset
· Salesforce Sales Cloud certifications is an asset
· Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications is an asset
· Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI) is an asset
