Tax Senior

Van Bruggen & Vande Vegte, P.C. has an immediate opening for an Tax Senior or Manager to work on and review federal and state income tax planning and preparation. This could be structured as a full-time or part-time position. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Prepare entity and individual federal and state tax returns, extensions, and planning for various clients.

· Review tax work of staff and interns and provide feedback, training, and mentoring.

· Perform tax research to identify opportunities and to resolve issues.

· Build relationships with client and staff.

A qualified applicant must be detail oriented and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft, particularly Excel is required. 2+ years of tax experience in a CPA firm with prior supervisory experience strongly preferred. A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to work as a team are essential to success in this position.
