Valley Fellowship Christian Academy Hiring for Elementary Teacher Job at Huntsville, AL Full Time

Valley Fellowship Christian Academy is seeking a qualified, Christian teacher for a lower elementary teaching position. Applicants must have a 4-year college degree and acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Lord and Personal Savior. Job responsibilities/requirements include:

• Lesson planning for all content areas in a self contained class. This includes but is not limited to: Bible, Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, and History.
• Teaching and supervising up to 24 students in a classroom setting
• Maintaining an accurate and timely gradebook
• Biblical integration of all subjects and spiritual development of the classroom students
• Semi-annual parent meetings to review student strengths and opportunities for improvement
• Foster and develop healthy partnerships between the school and parents
• Flexibility to assist in other areas as needed (tutoring, lunch supervision, etc.)
• Willingness and ability to sign and live by a strict honor code

The candidate must be passionate about Christian Education and be a member of a local church congregation. Previous teaching experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
