Valkyrie Clinical Trials Hiring for Medical Administrative Assistant at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

As the Medical Administrative Assistant, you’ll play an integral role in supporting our clinical team. The Administrative Assistant will be expected to be flexible and adaptable while working in a fast-paced environment, and able to make a sound judgment to execute tasks with minimal direction. The Administrative Assistant is a valuable resource to the facility and administrative team by being proactive and collaborating with various departments to meet operational needs. This is a full-time, hourly, in office, non-exempt position that s to the Medical Director and the Director of Operations. Observe normal office hours Monday through Friday; no remote work is available for this position.

• Provide effective administrative or clerical support to the facility as well as assisting medical director in delivering appropriate support to patients.
• Assist with coordinating new patients, obtaining medical records and insurance information, travel arrangements.
• Ordering and stocking medical equipment and office supplies as per requirement
• Assist administrators and management teams in handling staffing and patient care related

issues.

• Preparing and distributing daily appointment schedules to doctors and other healthcare

staff.

• Inspect working condition of medical equipment, and call technician if repair is required.
• Ensured clean and hygienic healthcare environment by coordinating activities of

housekeeping staff.

• Answer patients’ questions and requests and provide accurate information related to

appointment, doctors’ availability, or medical insurance.

• Arrange weekly and monthly staff meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them

appropriately.

• Assisted with obtaining information related to referrals from patients’ families.
• Stay up to date with changes in medical laws and regulations as well as the latest

advancements.

• Respond to emails within 24 hours during business hours.
• Coordinate meetings for Medical Director , Research Team
