Vale of Glamorgan Council Hiring for Lifecycle Officer at Barry Full Time

The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Lifecycle Team is looking for a motivated individual to join as a Lifecycle Officer. The Lifecycle Team is involved in the provision of all services covering the lifecycle of an employee including ensuring completion of pre-employment checks / advice on employment terms and conditions.

Recent developments in this service has included the roll-out of a new e-Recruitment system that has changed the way the Council recruits employees. This role will provide support to managers and employees throughout their employment.

About the role

Pay Details: Grade 4 SCP 5 – 7 £19,650 – £20,444

Hours per week: 37 hours per week

Location: Hybrid (Civic Offices, Barry and home working)

Temporary Reason: Up to 30th April 2023

Description:
You will contribute to an effective and customer focused HR administrative and clerical support service within the HR Lifecycle team. You will provide effective and customer HR transactional services to support the complete employment journey of all employees from recruitment to retirement.

About you

You will need:
2 years’ experience of working in a HR environment

Basic knowledge of employment legislation/practice as it relates to recruitment

NVQ 2 level education
