You will be joining a team of 6 HR Business Partners providing support to all aspects of council services. Essentially you will need to have a flexible and positive approach to new challenges to support the Head of HR to transform the service, and realise the ever evolving challenges of working for a large and varied organisation.

Pay Details: Grade 9, SCP 31 – 35 £35,336 – £39,571 p.a.
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours
Main Place of Work: Civic Offices – Barry (Remote working available)
Description:
Working within a small team of Business Partners, you will be the main point of contact for the provision of advice and support to Schools in the Barry area on all aspects of Human Resource Management. The ability to communicate clearly, and have a good understanding of employment law is essential.
About you
You will need:
Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to work flexibility and provide support to your colleagues
Proven experience of working in a HR generalist role ideally with significant employee relations experience
Knowledge of working with Schools terms and conditions would be advantageous
CIPD Qualified
