Vagabond Sandwich Company Hiring for Food Truck Operator at Bel Air, MD Full Time

We are looking for an experienced restaurant employee with valid drivers license and clean driving record to help operate our food truck in a safe and timely manner. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. Pay is $20 / hour plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure the vehicle has fuel, propane, and all necessary food / paper items to travel, set up, and serve the event on the calendar
• Help inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues prior to events
• Arrive at event location within a timely manner, set up and get prepared to serve
• Provide quality customer service, and quality food in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean kitchen, including nightly cleaning, and weekly fryer oil and hood filter cleaning, as well as all general sanitation.
• Prepare menu items as instructed and per customer requests
• defects, accidents or violations to management immediately.

Skills

• Proven kitchen work experience
• Ability to drive safely and efficiently within a 40 mile radius of Vagabond Sandwich Co.
• Knowledge of POS systems, and customer service relations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, event issues, customer complaints etc)
