The successful candidate will be required to be physically onsite at our office located in London, Ontario at least 50% of the work week.

Job Description

Utilismart Corporation has created and operates its own secure, cloud-based Meter Data Management (MDM) system along with a wide range of AMI/AMR software solutions and data services for Utilities, Municipalities, Commercial and Industrial and Residential consumers. Utilismart provides information needed to make informed business decisions about electricity, water and gas in the Smart Grid marketplace.

Utilismart Corporation is presently inviting applications for the position of Technical Customer Support.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify customer data deliverables and respond to customer inquiries regarding data, file delivery or web portals
• Operate meter data collection systems and Utilismart proprietary systems
• Daily communication by phone/email with clients, partners and regulatory agencies (such as IESO)
• Conduct data quality audits
• Prepare various reports to ensure the integrity of our product and proactively identify and resolve outstanding issues

Skills

• The applicant must be able to apply technical skills to monitor systems, and to troubleshoot, validate, and/or resolve problems with software and large volumes of data.
• Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills are required, as well as excellent analytical skills, mathematical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Applicant must possess the ability to work independently, and as a team player in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
• Utility industry experience considered an asset.

Education

• A Computer Systems Technology Diploma or equivalent diploma/degree is considered an asset.
