Title : Digital Marketing Specialist
Location : UTFCU Corporate Headquarters
SUMMARY :
The Digital Marketing Specialist supports and executes creative digital marketing initiatives through multiple channels including social media, corporate website, digital banking platforms, search engines, video, paid media (internet radio, over-the-top ads, pay per click, retargeting and display advertising), in-branch digital displays, and online reputation mediums.
This specialist provides education and value to members and prospective members, considering the content health, searchability, brand voice, tone and online presence while adhering to regulatory policies and guidelines.
Through organization-wide digital content marketing, this role provides a positive, intuitive experience to continuously increase engagement, wallet share, and the conversion of leads.
This role uses multiple data analytics platforms to guide marketing efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
This includes internal page links, meta-data, alt and title tags, per-page keywords and page descriptions.
This includes deploying review drives and campaigns.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or related field and 2-5 years of digital marketing experience with progressive responsibility, preferably in a financial services firm, strongly preferred.
Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite is required.
CREATIVE SKILLS :
Ability to develop new and unique ideas; easily makes connections among previously unrelated notions; tends to be seen as original and value-added in brainstorming settings.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Superb writing, proofreading, and overall communication skills are a must. Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
Requires the ability to write clear and concise content and s. The ability to make effective presentations on digital marketing topics is required.
The ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from members, staff, and others is required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Intermediate math skills required for use in tracking expenditures and analyzing marketing results, statistics, and data from campaigns.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
REASONING ABILITY :
Requires the ability to identify, analyze and solve complex problems. Ability to formulate and make recommendations and to implement them.
Requires the ability to interpret and analyze an array of data in a variety of forms and leverage it for marketing purposes.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES :
Must learn all the products and services of the credit union and be able to describe them in some detail. Must be aware of how a credit union operates, its policies regarding savings, lending, and checking account usage.
Needs to have a level of knowledge and understanding sufficient to communicate effectively to others, i.e., a well-informed credit union representative.

This position requires an extensive amount of screen viewing time as digital marketing efforts are conducted via desktop computers, laptops, tablets, photographic / video recording equipment, and other mobile devices with backlit screens.
Other vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee must be able to operate audio and visual equipment.
The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 30 lbs. The employee must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
