In this role you will:

• Gathering requirements from business users
• Creation of technical designs based on business requirements
• Creation of queries, dashboards and reports based on technical and functional requirements
• Active engagement in all stages of the development lifecycle for BI applications
• Configuration of data intake using SQL, SSIS and Python
• Creation of data models
• Providing estimates for end-to-end reporting solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolution of performance issues

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven experience in the Design, Development, and Maintenance of end-to-end reporting solutions
• Extensive experience with:
  • SQL Server
  • Microsoft Power BI
• Recommended experience with
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Python, Transact-SQL, Power shell scripting
• Proficiency in Data Analytics, Dashboarding Principles, Relational and dimensional modeling, Agile Software Delivery Methodologies such as Scrum, SQL queries and stored procedures, Slowly Changing Dimensions, ETL and ELT operations, Security concepts and designs
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills
• Proven sense of urgency and initiative with regard to problem solving
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Recommended experience with user domain: procurement cycles, inventory management, sales dashboards, etc.
