We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Logistics Subject Matter Expert to work out of Hanscom AFB, MA supporting the Survivable Air Operations Center (SAOC) Team (AFLCMC/WVS). In this role, the logistician will assist the WVS government program office team, working in conjunction with government engineers and program managers, as well as other support contractor engineers and program managers.

Essential Duties:

• Develop and execute logistics and sustainment plans for the SAOC E-4B replacement fleet, with specific emphasis on Commercial Derivative Aircraft.
• Participate in the development of Maintenance and Life Cycle Logistics Plans to ensure smooth products’ transition to Air Logistics Complex Centers.
• Work closely with program engineers, and system developers to characterize sustainment support requirements and support SAOC program sustainment related annual system management planning efforts in coordination with the SAOC Product Support Manager’s government team as well as other Sustainment organization POCs.
• Provide extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with the DoD 5000 series instructions.
• Leverage knowledge of the DoD’s integrated product support element structure, and extensive familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes to support the SAOC lifecycle planning.
• Support the drafting and maintaining of a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA) for the SAOC sustainment planning effort.
• Provide expert-level logistics input on Request for Proposals (RFPs), Statement of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs).
• Provide expert-level logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics (supply, reliability, maintainability, reliability, etc.) and provide them to key logistics reviews.
• Review and analyze system concepts and user requirements that have been approved and entered into a system requirements baseline (functional, allocated, and product) for their impact on proposed sustainment efforts for the SAOC fleet.

Required Qualifications:

• 15 years of experience in lifecycle logistics, 8 of which must be in support of DoD acquisition contracts; or 20 years of experience in a logistics discipline, 10 of which must be in support of the DoD.
• Progressive experience in sustainment of DoD weapon system acquisition programs, to include logistics & sustainment documentation, design drawings, and lifecycle sustainment planning to enable government ownership of the program technical baseline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer experience with sustainment of major aircraft development programs, and more specifically aircraft programs.

Education/ Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, prefer Master’s degree.
