Nature and Scope of Job
Together with the Manager IT for Operations, the Project Manager will work on projects to build up our client’s Infrastructure Storage & Compute capabilities. The role will report into the Director, Digital Transformation. The PM will also manage rollout of applications to support operations. The role is expected to be expert at drawing out plans to implement GxP infrastructure and applications. Ideally the candidate should have performed hands on qualification/validation deliverables and then transitioned to a PM role.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide project management expertise and oversight of IT Infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery without compromising high quality deliverables.
Provide periodic reporting on initiative status, activities and tasks, risk, interdependencies and issues for presentation to senior executives and other major stakeholders.
Provide project management expertise on multiple projects in parallel and provide insight to the stakeholders across the projects managed.
Manage budget and finances of the project and report it out across all the projects.
Deliver quality documentation allowing for smooth transition of built elements to operations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field preferred

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure projects in GxP Environments

• At least 3 years of experience as an IT infrastructure Admin or Engineer is a huge plus.
• Proven analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with track record of working directly with senior leadership levels.
• Strong customer focused, team-oriented communication skills with emphasis on building lasting, trusted partnerships through written and verbal communications with clients of IT in the business.
• Prior experience as a Qualification Engineer or Validation Engineer is a huge plus.
