US Wine Transport Hiring for Bookkeeper Job at American Canyon, CA Full Time

US Wine Transport is a family owned and operated wine logistics company based in American Canyon, CA. Our customers are wholesalers and distributors across 22 states that primarily represent smaller, boutique wineries and importers from across CA, OR, and WA.

US Wine Transport has an immediate opening for a part time bookkeeper/accounting specialist with the option for full time if you are the right fit for our team! We are a fast growing, family owned and operated, company and are looking for someone that is detail oriented, motivated, and familiar with all of the bookkeeping tasks related to a small business to help us expand. Our team of ten works from American Canyon and we have three employees who work remotely throughout the US. We are deeply committed to providing a top notch customer experience and pride ourselves on our capacity to both physically deliver the products our customers need each week but also to simplify their whole purchasing process from when they place their orders to when they get their bill. We are looking to find someone who will share that commitment and help support our internal processes that make that possible.

The part time position would allow for remote or on site work. Full time applicants would need to be located at our American Canyon offices.

Part time duties would include working directly with our owner and President to maintain and reconcile monthly bank statements, post all financial transactions, sales and expenses into Quickbooks Pro, process and send all customer invoices, handle special billing projects that occur outside of our normal system and manage both AR and AP.

The ideal part time candidate will have extensive experience with A/R, A/P and must be fully familiar and comfortable operating Quick Books Pro. Experience working with small businesses is desired. All applicants must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, experience with Microsoft Access is a benefit. We are looking for someone who is adept at working independently, is a strong communicator, and has great time management skills.

Applicants interested in working full time would also be responsible for general office tasks such as answering the phone, filing bills of lading, and processing paperwork. All full time duties, benefits, and responsibilities can be discussed in an interview if interested.
