The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the development and completion of an entire project.
While the Senior Project Engineer must be able to perform any function of the development process, much of their time is spent in administering the project and directing the engineering design effort.
Throughout the development phase of a project, the Senior Project Engineer will concur with various groups and individuals both internal and external to the company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Product Manager – to determine the specifications and cost of new product.
Reliability Engineer – to develop the qualifications test plan (internal facilities and field locations).
Test Engineering – to develop the component endurance, prototype performance test, and complaint testing plans.
Advance Manufacturing Engineering – to ensure the manufacturing plan for new product is complete.
Service Engineering – to ensure the truck meets the service requirements for ease of serviceability.
Technical Publications – to ensure service and operators’ manuals are completed for the new product.
Manufacturing – plant management (Lexington, Korea, China, Vietnam, Other) to put in place plan for building new product.
Purchasing- to ensure the chosen suppliers are approved by Purchasing and Quality.
Vendors – to order parts, ensure quality supplies.
Marketing – to gain customer input, develop cost and pricing estimates.
Manufacturing – to implement designs, improve production efficiency and quality.
Customers – to improve customer satisfaction, gain input about customer needs.
Quality Assurance – to ensure product quality and that trucks meet specifications.
Other Engineers – for assistance with design solutions, ensure design fit.
Understand and apply the standards set forth in UL, NFPA, OSHA, ITSDF, ANSI, ASME, ISO, ITA, EN, CSA and others in all work.
Operate equipment such as office equipment, PC-computer, NX/Teamcenter system, test equipment, or others as required to perform tasks.

Required Education & Experience:
Four (4) year Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences, plus ten (10) years of experience in product design engineering, preferably in the material handling industry with at least 3 of those years being in project management.
Comprehensive technical knowledge of engineering mechanics, structures, materials, and processes with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in product design and implementations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
