US Sand & Gravel Hiring for Logistics Specialist at Stephenville, TX Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling of loads
• Pushing trucks off yard at designated times
• Communicating with GM for assignments and improvements
• Managing drivers, approving time worked, reassigning drivers as needed throughout the day while working with Human Resources on driver’s hours.
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance of trucks and trailers
• Upkeep of shop and truck yard
• Ensuring all DOT regulations are met
• Planning and dispatching heavy hauls. Purchasing appropriate permits
• Ensure on time delivery of product/machinery to customers
• Will work with sister companies
• Route trucks efficiently
• Making sure all trucks have proper up to date paperwork.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience in trucking and dispatch functions
• Class A CDL with experience preferred
• Knowledge of the permitting process for oversize loads and documentation is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Enterprise Computer Applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• 2+ years management experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
