US Industries Hiring for Senior Software Engineer Job at Remote Full Time

US 1 Industries is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with proven expertise in software development activities including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The position will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of changes: from analysis to the usage of the features on live. This is a FULL TIME REMOTE position, that will require leading/mentoring junior team members and working with geographically distributed teams in multiple time-zones.

Required skills:

• Advanced knowledge building modern web applications based on Java, Springboot, Typescript, React/Redux, Javascript, Node.js, HTML, CSS expertise, NextJS
• Advanced knowledge of AWS and experience designing solutions using AWS services/technologies
• Experience with MYSQL/RDS/NOSQL databases
• Experience with Java as a backend framework and designing of REST API using Spring Boot, Spring.
• Hands-on experience of unit-tests and integration tests implementation, understanding the concept of code mocking.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions
• Good understanding of scalable web application design patterns and architecture principles.
• Experience working with Event-Driven, Microservice based architecture
• Infrastructure / DevOps experience – AWS CI CD tools, CircleCI, Shell scripting etc.
• Experience leading/mentoring other software engineers and providing technical guidance
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams
• Proficient in creating and administering containers using Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge and/or experience in Transportation/Trucking/EDI/Accounting a plus
• Familiar with the Agile/Scrum process and JIRA.
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Authorized to work in the US (Citizen or Permanent Resident), no H1-B sponsorships

Specific Requirements:

• 3 years experience leading/mentoring other software engineers
• 5 years experience with Java as a backend framework
• 3 years experience designing of REST API
• 3 years experience with Spring Boot, Spring.
• 3 years experience with Typescript/React
