Summary:

The user education software engineer will assist the team to build tooling and maintain tooling that helps our users better understand and use our products. You will be joining a group of highly motivated engineering partners who have built a mature suite of products to serve user education content. You will be extending that toolchain by making functionality turnkey for other product teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Become a trusted technical advisor for partner teams seeking integration assistance with our user education tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering peers to write, research, estimate, and build new features.
• Create a visualizer for different educational tip content.

• Integrate a tracking dashboard into existing tools for internal stakeholders to monitor progress.
• Build, test, and deliver an arbitration tool to easily permit the team to control content impressions between disparate campaigns.
• Deepen the automated customization options for our primary existing placement.
• Expose and permit the customization of new campaign optimization goal.
• Build a multivariate copy testing system to measure the impact of different content strategy decisions.
• Add different targetable user segments by obtaining, cleaning, and exposing data from our surface partners.

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
• Familiarity with PHP/Hack, Javascript (React), HTML, and GraphQL

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
