We’re hiring a full time Customer (Call Centre) Service Representative to join our busy team. You will work remotely from home.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about answering the phone and providing excellent customer service.

Job Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of three years of Customer service experience in a busy call centre environment providing excellent in-person information to customers.
Experience working in transportation and logistics is an asset.
Have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Goal oriented team player, and a self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed.
Great attitude and relentless dedication to success.
Must be able to build rapport, develop and maintain relationships with customers
Able to work independently
Clearly understands the practices and procedures of the department and job responsibilities
Top notch written and oral communication skills with a high attention to detail
Analytical thinker with a keen attention to detail.
Must maintain composure and positivity in challenging situations
Must be well spoken and confident in knowledge
Self-motivated and willing to learn
Interest in and appreciation for recycling.
Ability to learn how recycling and shredding services work and translate technical jargon for customers.
Decision-making skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with customers
Experience/training in word processing, and standard computer applications (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, standard computer applications and company databases)
Ability to deal with others effectively with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, problem solving and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Ability to demonstrate resolution of issues and continuous improvement in customer service.
Must be well spoken and confident.
You must progress and grow with the company to ensure knowledge is up to date and accurate.
Main Job Duties
Our Customer Service (Call Centre) Representatives are the pulse of Urban Impact. They are the first point of contact for our clients and the public.
Here are some of the duties:
Answers the Customer Service lines in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner.
Responds to incoming requests for assigned services via phone and email.
Engages with customers via telephone and email to analyze their needs.
Maintains a high level of professionalism with customers and work to establish a positive rapport with each caller
Answers questions and direct calls to the appropriate person of contact
Identifies operational problems and promptly notifies Operations.
Identifies and escalates priority issues
Follows up on customer calls where necessar
Establishes good rapport with customers and strives to develop a connection and take personal interest in regular customers.
Creates work orders and service change forms in a timely fashion.
Interacts with several departments within the company to ensure constructive customer experience and provide exceptional knowledge to customers
Possesses patience and listening skills to fully comprehend the customers concerns
Maintains composure and positivity in challenging situations.
