Hybrid Role – 2 days a week in the London, Soho office

This scaling tech company are based in Soho London, but are open to a fully-remote, or a hybrid work set-up. They are a successful SaaS platform who work with clients such as Brewdog, Netflix, Google, Deliveroo and The BBC (to name but a few!).

They now require a skilled HR Office Manager to support senior management with day-to-day HR tasks and broader operational responsibilities too.

As this a hectic, fast-paced scale-up, your role will be broad and will require you to get your hands dirty in tasks that might not typically sit within ‘HR’ – such as Office Management and general Administration. This role would suit someone who has perhaps been an Executive Assistant/PA previously and are now in HR.

This is a senior role, working alongside the internal recruitment team and reporting into The Head of People. No two days are ever the same!

Responsibilities

• Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
• Revise and review company policies
• Participate in HR and Recruitment projects
• Support senior management with operational requirements: manage calendars and set up meetings, book venues, coordinate staff events…
• You will liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
• Organise and maintain personnel records
• Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
• Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
• Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick

days and work schedules)

• Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports, Oversee the booking of performance management
• Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations,

reports, take minutes during meetings

• Administration of company benefits systems
• Administration of the Company’s Performance Review System

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a HR Manager/Executive
• Office manager experience, with a core focus on compliance and discretion
• Experience of being proactive and solving problems before they arise
• Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects
• Exceptional communication skills/excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Discretion and confidentiality is a must for this role
• Fast-paced, quality-controlled work ethos
• Self-sufficient/proactive
• Prior experience working in a start-up is hugely advantageous
