Upwork Hiring for Game Testing Lead – Functional QA Testing at Winnipeg, MB Full Time

Overview:
Upwork has partnered with an enterprise client, they are a boutique games services company with 35 offices in 11 countries worldwide. Our range of services include quality assurance, localization, customer experience, art production, game development services, and audio production services.

They are currently looking for Games Quality Assurance Lead, a collaborative leader that is solution-driven and able to coach and develop their team to their max potential. The role is remote, but ideal candodate should be located in the Winnipeg area as the client may request you visit onsite in their studio or pick up devices needed in their Studio offices for this project.

This project is slated to start mid-February 2022, and should take up to 2 weeks to complete, requiring full time availability.

Responsibilities:
What you’ll be doing:
Help set up new projects, taking into consideration the logistics of humans, hardware, and software resources.

Act as primary point of contact for client stakeholders.

Lead and manage cross disciplinarily teams.

Responsible for test case creation and execution, bug vetting, and overall quality.

Write daily status and end of project reports.

Compile and submit weekly reports for spending and SOW (Signed Official

Agreement).

Escalate issues affecting the project to internal management and/or the client.

Help the HR team with tasks like interviewing, verifying hours, coaching, and training new members.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of Games Quality Assurance experience with Leadership experience.

Excel in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible schedule and personality to meet changing work demands.

Fluent in English – written and spoken.

Functional verbal French capabilities and assets.
