Our organization is seeking a highly talented Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong knowledge of social work practices, as well as a passion for helping others in need. Our organization is committed to fighting homelessness and we are looking for someone who will share our enthusiasm for this mission and help us serve the needs of some of the most vulnerable members of our society.

Responsibilities:

• Support caretakers and children through the grieving process.
• Maintain regular contact with social service agencies.
• Compose letters to other service providers, educators, and families on behalf of children.
• Interpret medical records and make recommendations to medical staff.
• Follow up with social service agencies to ensure continuity of care.
• Help children cope with physical and emotional distress.
• Be an advocate for children’s rights.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
