The Education Specialist & Chest Pain Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing the Chest Pain Accreditation program and participating with staff education. The Chest Pain Accreditation Program is a new initiative at Upson Regional Medical Center and this role will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the program. Staff education duties will include, but are not limited to, new staff orientation, staff development, competency validation, and maintaining personal development.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field (or, enrolled in a BSN program), BLS, ACLS, and 5 years’ Nursing experience (preferably in ED or Critical Care). Prefer Master’s degree in Nursing or related field and 5 years’ experience in clinical staff development.
