We are the UK’s leading provider of on-campus residential and academic accommodation infrastructure, operating over 36,000 rooms in partnership with 15 world-leading universities across the UK. We have launched our ambitious Building Futures strategy and are mobilising to deliver this at pace.

UPP are now looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner who will establish and implement the frameworks, and supporting tool sets, for recruitment, capable of attracting @top talent@ and of sustaining strong Company performance and underpinning future business growth.

Main duties include:

• The Talent Acquisition Partner will develop a framework to attract candidates to join UPP that fulfils the forecasted headcount/skills requirements and our ED&I targets.
• Develop a tool set for hiring managers to ensure best practice and consistency in sourcing, screening, interviewing and assessing/testing applicants
• Coach and build the capability of senior managers in talent acquisition techniques; cultivate a culture of line manager responsibility and accountability for recruitment
• Lead Companywide activities to build strong talent pipelines for ‘always on’ roles, to fulfil current and future hiring needs
• Establish and manage our partnerships with alumni associations, universities colleges, job boards, recruitment agencies, etc.
• Develop a network of referred candidates and past applicants for future hires
• Host recruitment events for driving Company awareness

Key Skills:

• Experience of generalist HR management or specialist knowledge in other HR disciplines outside reward
• Knowledge of Workday (recruiting)
