Upkeep Care Hiring for Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) at Birmingham Full Time

Salary: £35,500 + £1,680 car allowance

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Employee Relations Business Partners to join our busy HR Department. You will report into the HR Manager and be responsible for providing an excellent HR partnering service to ensuring the delivery of a successful and proactive HR support and advice service including; employee relations, employment law, absence management, and performance management issues. The Employee Relations Business Partner will also lead on one of the following areas;

• Learning and Development
• Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

This area of responsibility will include working with senior members of the People and Resources team and wider management team demonstrating passion, enthusiasm and proactive working to achieve desirable results.

Role responsibilities include;

• Being the key contact for a dedicated area of the business with the support of the HR Associates on all HR related enquiries
• Completing employee relations casework including flexible working requests, investigations, disciplinary and grievance
• Escalating complex casework to the HR Manager, whilst supporting the process
• Leading on their specialist area of either L&D or EDI

About You Essential:

• Experience of working in a busy HR environment.
• Working knowledge of Employee Relations and HR.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• CIPD qualified at Level 5 or above.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,500.00-£37,180.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
