Position Objective:

The Parts Specialist will be responsible for purchasing and ordering parts for technicians in the shop and on the road. This individual will have a strong attention to detail and will manage all incoming part orders with accuracy. Team and customer oriented, the Parts Specialist will be self-sufficient and organized.

Job Functions:

• Order parts for technicians.
• Receive all incoming orders and check for accuracy.
• Restock and organize parts areas.
• Provide quotes and information to customers regarding parts.
• Understand parts diagrams to decide what is necessary for purchase.
• Handle shipping, returns, and exchanges with customers.

Marginal Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience required.

• Customer service professional with strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional ability to maintain organization and time management.
• Operate computer systems for parts management.

Physical Requirements

• Regular sitting, standing, and walking; must be able to climb on equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment located in Morton, Illinois.

Salary

• $25 – $35/hour, commensurate with experience.
