What will you be doing?

You will partner with a couple of areas in our business to deliver an exceptional end to end recruitment process whilst also having involvement in some in some exciting projects. You will be an employer brand ambassador for us, championing Unum as employer of choice in its local markets, and providing an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience at all times.

What will you bring?

• Effectively manage the end to end attraction and recruiting processes for business areas.
• Proactively sources top talent for us, using all available channels and sources, including mastery of LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced internet searching, and use of the any innovative solutions to support the searches.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of business areas requiring hiring support, and familiarity with the critical skills and performance enablers required of successful hires.
• Nurtures and builds relationships with top talent over time outside of active recruitment processes, forming talent pipelines supporting the firm’s critical/recurring talent priorities.
• Partners with hiring managers and HR colleagues to utilise the most appropriate assessment methodologies.
• Utilize tools and resources to effectively evaluate talent in a variety of methods in order to ensure that the company is selecting qualified and engaged professionals.
• Masters the use of the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring candidate information is complete and accurate, and that meaningful data is available to stakeholders.
• Provide support in the design of candidate recruiting programs that attract, select and retain a qualified, diverse workforce and support our ambitious workplace diversity goals.
• Produces and tailors impactful candidate communications, job adverts and individual correspondence which builds brand engagement with candidates, and represents the values and employee value proposition of Unum UK.
• Create and maintain contacts with employment sources, including schools, colleges, universities, job boards, employment agencies, search firms, trade associations; seek opportunities to leverage external partnerships to support in successfully delivering our talent strategies.
• Provide coaching and training to the hiring manager community to bridge skill and knowledge gaps in end to end recruitment processes.

Required:

• Strong knowledge/experience in all recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, etc.
• Experience delivering innovative recruitment and selection services, supporting entry-level, graduate recruitment and professional level roles: both in-house and agency experience preferred;
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in setting own direction;
• Knowledge of best practices in recruitment and selection;
• Proven experience of sourcing;
• Organizational and communication skills;
• Negotiation, decision making and persuasion skills;
